Technical leadership in robotics safety and functional safety program management.

We seek an experienced Senior Robotics Safety Engineer to join our remote team. In this role, you will lead functional safety program development, mentor junior engineers, and provide technical expertise on safety-critical robotics systems. You'll work with clients across autonomous mobile robots, collaborative robots, and industrial automation domains, guiding them through safety certification and compliance processes.

Requirements

Experience and qualifications for this position.

Experience Required

10-15 years of functional safety experience in safety-critical systems or robotics engineering.

Standards Expertise

Deep knowledge of IEC 61508, ISO 13849, ISO 13482, and automotive functional safety standards.

Safety Analysis Skills

Proficiency in FMEA, FTA, hazard analysis, and HARA methodologies.

Team Leadership

Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and mentor junior engineers.

Robotics Domain

Direct experience with robotics systems, AMRs, collaborative robots, or autonomous vehicles.

Communication Skills

Strong written and verbal communication for client engagement and documentation.
